A GA4 rebuild and a first move into full-funnel, with record results.
Amy’s Bakehouse is a fast-growing St Albans bakery, founded by a brother-and-sister team in their parents’ kitchen during the pandemic and now one of the most-loved custom cake brands in the country, with well over a thousand five-star reviews.
They craft bold, occasion-led celebration cakes, from birthdays and weddings to themed seasonal collections.
The brand had only ever retargeted, recapturing people who already knew it, and the tracking underneath could not be fully trusted. You cannot scale confidently on numbers you do not believe.
So Amy’s needed two things: a measurement foundation it could rely on, and a way to reach genuinely new customers at scale, in a business where demand is tied to specific occasions.
Our first priority was fixing conversion tracking, so the account optimised cleanly against GA4 and real orders rather than guesswork.
We then restructured the product feed and campaigns by cake theme, mirroring how customers actually search, from kids’ birthdays to weddings and seasonal moments.
With the foundations right, we introduced Meta as a full-funnel channel. The brand had only ever retargeted, so we built prospecting to put their standout cakes in front of new audiences at scale, running Meta and Google as one connected strategy.
We delivered a record-breaking return on ad spend in the first two months, holding around 5x as we scaled. The move into full-funnel Meta then drove record revenue across the business.
Crucially, that growth came from opening genuine new demand, rather than simply recapturing existing visitors.
We will build the plan, run the channels and report on what actually matters: your commercial growth.
