Bedrooms Plus is a UK retailer specialising in fitted and freestanding bedroom furniture, helping homeowners design, plan and furnish beautiful bedrooms. They came to us with a Google Ads account that was ticking over but nowhere near its potential, returning around 2.5x on spend.
We saw a brand with brilliant products, strong margins and a huge opportunity to scale profitably if the account was rebuilt around commercial outcomes rather than clicks.
We rebuilt the entire Google Ads account around profit and blended MER instead of last-click ROAS. That meant restructuring campaigns by margin and intent, rebuilding the Shopping feed, and layering in Performance Max to capture demand across the full Google network.
Budgets were set and flexed against blended efficiency, with weekly reporting tied straight back to revenue and contribution rather than vanity metrics. We worked hand in hand with the team on the Shopify back-end so the numbers we optimised to were the numbers landing in the business.
In twelve months we grew tracked sales from £208k to £898k, a 332% increase year on year, while keeping spend controlled at £75.6k. Blended MER climbed from 2.5x to 11.9x.
